YONKERS PD: Defendants Noel Fernandez, Mikel Soriano & Adel Ordonez to be arraigned on Gang Assault charges
YONKERS: On Tuesday, December 26th, 2017, at approximately 8:15 PM, members of the Yonkers Police Department were dispatched to the vicinity of 219 Nepperhan Avenue on a report of physical dispute.
Responding officers were then advised that a male had been stabbed and another male was in possession of a knife.
Upon arrival the officers requested medical assistance for the injured male and also detained 3 males at the scene.
The victim of the stabbing was transported to a local area hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Further investigation determined that the 3 males who were detained were responsible for the stabbing.
FERNANDEZ, SORIANO and ORDONEZ were placed under arrest and booked on a charge of Gang Assault 1°, a Class B NYS Penal Law Felony.
FERNANDEZ, SORIANO and ORDONEZ are expected to be arraigned on today’s date. The prosecution of this case is being managed by the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office.
