Brian Harrod just can't wait to do this Cable TV Show on Biagio Gino Civale, because he is just an amazing man and we all should be as active as he is at 80 years old.

At age 19, without specific artistic preparation, Biagio Gino Civale was selected to exhibit in an Art Gallery, at Piazza Esedra in Rome, Italy.

Simultaneously his first collection of poems was published in Italy ( Glarus 1954).

At age 20, Biagio Gino Civale first major solo exhibition was held at the prestigious Galerie Chardin, at Rue de Seine, in Paris, France; my work was noted by two important art critics of the time (Roland Charmet for ARTS and Irenee Mauget for Maison des Intellectuels.

From 1956 to 1976 Biagio Gino Civale was a member of the Italian Association of Engravers (Printmakers), IDIT, under the direction of Luigi Servolini and the patronage of Marc Chagall.  As an engraver my prints were exhibited in various European cities.

At age 39, the Australian Center in Rome, Italy selected a few of his woodcuts for the exhibition” The Modern Italian EX LIBRIS “.  The publication of Printmakers of Italy included me among the top one hundred artists.

At age 40, five hundred of Biagio Gino Civale's artworks were displayed and filled an entire church.  All proceeds were donated to the religious administration of the site in Scarperia (FI).

At age 41, Biagio Gino Civale showed in Geneva, Switzerland and became a permanent “stable artist” in a dozen art galleries, from Italy to France and to New Zealand.  I also obtained a major one-man show at the International Art Gallery of Via Tornabuoni, in Florence.

At age 46 he was honored with a major solo exhibition at IL PUNTO art gallery along the Arno river, in Florence; which was curated by the celebrated architect Franco Gurrieri.

In the late nineties and until 2007 Biagio Gino Civale became one of the ten best sellers in the Paintings DIRECT website; selling an average of one piece every month.

At age 68, the Molloy College, of Rockville Centre, New York, dedicated a major solo exhibition to Biagio Gino Civale large artworks (ten plus feet wide).

From 2009 to 2014, he co-curated the Yonkers Artists Annual Juried Exhibition (for the Yonkers Arts).

Biagio Gino Civale's images continue to appear on fifty websites, globally, with some offering prints of the images.

He has created about five thousand images and published four thousand multiples, in various styles, from figurative to abstract.

Biagio Gino Civale's work has been cited in numerous magazine articles and books throughout his sixty-six years itinerary.

At age 80, Biagio Gino Civale assembled samples of my works for a 65 years retrospective exhibition at Andrus on Hudson in Hastings.
