Missouri Republicans are joining existing Democratic calls for the immediate resignation or impeachment of Governor Eric Greitens (R) after the GOP dominated Missouri House Oversight committee released a report today detailing allegations that Greitens intimidated, blackmailed and sexually assaulted a woman when he was running for Governor in 2015.
Greitens, who is under indictment in St. Louis for photographing her in a compromising position without her permission, publicly says the report is full of lies but he refused to provide testimony or documents to the committee.
Many leading Missouri GOP officials, including the Attorney General and multiple members of the state legislature have called for his immediate resignation.
