The Yonkers Insider has learned that John Doherty has sold the Palisade Food Store to another outfit. Sources tell me that today is the last of business for Palisade Food Store. Sources also tell me that the business coming is from Hawthorne. It is Albanian in origin.

The Yonkers Insider salutes John Doherty for his years of serving Yonkers residents in North Yonkers. He was a successful small businessman in our city. We thank him for bettering North Yonkers & helping the Yonkers economy. He loves Yonkers. He has been a great influence in our city. He has been a good neighbor for this city. The Yonkers Insider wishes Doherty the best of luck in his future endeavors. The store was started by his father & was a family owned business in Yonkers. He is a Real Estate Salesperson in Hastings.
